Tattoos have been used for personal adornment for hundreds of thousands of years, and there’s no doubt that sometimes tattoo regret follows shortly thereafter. It is in our nature after all, to resonate with the magnitude of special events, people & topics of passionate interest for a while (sometimes a shorter one than we anticipated…) only to feel our interest fade and move onto a new, invigorating subject.
So what happens when the tattoo we once wore with tremendous pride and satisfaction is telling a story we no longer feel?
Should you have to see it daily without a hope of seeing it gone?
How does laser tattoo removal work?
- A medical grade Laser is used to deliver high intensity light pulses to break up the pigment colours of the tattoo
- The tattoo ink then selectively absorbs the light without damaging the normal surrounding skin tissue in the process
- The ink is broken into smaller particles that are harmlessly removed by the body in the weeks following treatment
Each tattoo is unique and so the treatment regime will vary.
Removing a professionally applied tattoo is a process that usually requires a series of 6-10 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
Laser tattoo removal is safe and effective when undertaken by an expert, and at Laser, Skin & Wellness Clinic you can always be sure that the standard of care and efficacy is surpassed.
